1. Adult Eligibility and Account Responsibility
Tiptoe is intended for parents and other authorized adult caregivers. A child may not create or manage an account. You must provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
2. Educational Purpose; Not Medical Advice
Tiptoe provides educational milestone context, organizational tools, and parent-controlled journaling. It does not provide medical care, diagnosis, treatment, developmental prediction, emergency services, or a determination that a child is ahead, behind, healthy, or unhealthy.
Milestone ranges describe population reference information and are not deadlines for an individual child. Contact a qualified healthcare professional with questions about a child’s health or development. For an emergency, contact local emergency services.
3. Your Content and Family Sharing
You retain ownership of information and media you submit. You grant Ebenezer Labs the limited rights necessary to store, process, synchronize, secure, export, and delete that content to operate Tiptoe.
You are responsible for inviting only authorized adults, assigning appropriate roles, and obtaining any permission required to upload or share information about a child. Family roles limit what members may view or change, but you remain responsible for your sharing choices.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not use Tiptoe to violate law or another person’s rights, access another family’s data without authorization, upload malicious or unlawful material, interfere with security or service operation, reverse engineer where prohibited, or misrepresent Tiptoe output as professional medical advice.
5. Subscriptions
Optional Premium subscriptions are expected to be offered through Apple’s App Store. Before purchase, Tiptoe will display the product, price, trial if any, renewal period, and available limited-access path using information supplied by the App Store.
- Payment is charged through your Apple account after confirmation.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through Apple before renewal.
- Apple controls billing, cancellation, refund, and account-management mechanisms.
- Restored access depends on a verified entitlement.
Final product identifiers, price, trial, subscription language, and jurisdiction-specific terms must be approved before these Terms become effective.
6. Service Changes and Availability
Features may evolve. We may suspend a feature when required for privacy, security, source integrity, legal compliance, or service reliability. Incomplete features must not be represented as operational. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
7. Sources and Intellectual Property
Ebenezer Labs owns Tiptoe software, design, original content, and branding. Third-party source material remains subject to its owners’ rights and applicable terms. Source links and labels are provided for transparency and do not imply endorsement.
8. Privacy and Deletion
The Tiptoe Privacy Notice describes data handling and available controls. Deleting local app data does not by itself establish that future synchronized server, provider, subscription, audit, or backup records have completed their applicable deletion process.
9. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TINYTRACKS IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” EDUCATIONAL CONTENT MAY BE INCOMPLETE, OUTDATED, OR INAPPLICABLE TO A PARTICULAR CHILD. DO NOT DELAY PROFESSIONAL CARE BECAUSE OF INFORMATION IN TINYTRACKS.
10. Liability, Disputes, and Other Legal Terms
Warranty exclusions, liability limits, indemnification, governing law, arbitration or court venue, class-action terms, termination rights, notice procedures, severability, assignment, and jurisdiction-specific consumer protections require counsel review and must be completed before these Terms become effective.
